St. Andrews, NB, Canada is my home - it's where I grew up and where I have chosen to live after many years of attempting to become a professional golfer and doing a lot of wandering. Life around the sea, and my familiar surroundings are my greatest influences when it comes to creating.

I like presenting ordinary things in interesting ways. I love the process of constructing a piece of art and attempting to express (through colour and patterns) the feeling I experienced while viewing the scene. I want each scene to be recognizable, but I also want each scene to cause an emotional response in each person who views one of my pieces. Each piece is not only intensely personal to me, but is also meant to be enjoyed by as many people as possible. Fine Art America offers me and every other artist a forum to be able to let the people of the planet view our art in a way that wasn't possible even a few short years ago.
